Children across America and around the world have responded to the September 11 attacks by creating breathtaking works of art. These historic artworks will be featured in a Special Issue of the ChildArt magazine. The issue is dedicated to the children of the victims of the terrorist attacks.

Contents
The January/March 2002 issue of ChildArt will feature artworks and messages from children, plus "how to" articles on healing through the arts. Child artists from across the United States and from several other countries, including Albania, Azerbaijan and Iran, have created artworks especially for the issue. The September 11 art of professional artists will be included as well.
Collaboration
The International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) is collaborating with several organizations to develop this issue. The Office of the Chief of Staff at the Pentagon is helping with the issue. Included are articles and stories by the New York University Child Study Center, Yale University Department of Psychology, Potomac Art Therapists Association, Survivor Arts Foundation, CityArts, Artsonia, WhyProject, Artistcares, DC Art Education Association (DCAEA), and several schools across the nation.
