Creativity Test: How Creative R You?

Hey kids! Being creative means showing IMAGINATION and ORIGINALITY. Try out my little test to show off how creative you are! - ICAFFY

Take out a piece of paper and write the numbers 1-5. Then write down as many answers as you can think of to the following questions:

1. Draw a capital letter B on your paper. Now, add other lines or markings to change the B into a picture of something. Do as many versions as you can!
2. Sure, you can use a paper clip to attach pieces of paper together. Try thinking of as many other uses for a paper clip as you can - don't worry if your ideas get wild!
3. Your teacher tells you she wants you to decorate her car for a parade. She says it doesn't matter if the car can be cleaned up later or not, just make it look wonderful! Use your creativity to think of different ideas for decorating the outside of her car. (Pretend you are rich, so you can use whatever materials you want!)
4. Look at the picture below. Write down all the things it reminds you of.
5. Imagine there is a bicycle that is broken and can't be fixed. Think of as many ways as you can to recycle or reuse the bicycle's parts.

Here are some more questions to think about!

• Your ball gets stuck up in a tree much higher than you can reach, and you can't climb the tree. Think of as many different ways as you can for how to get your ball down.
• You have a block of ice that you want to keep from melting, but you don't have a refrigerator or a cooler. What could you do to keep the ice cool?
• Pick a random letter from the alphabet and then write down as many things in your environment that start with that letter
• Analogies are comparisons that use "like" or "as". For example, "the highway is like a snake winding into the distance" or "the car was as shiny as a dolphin". Think of as many analogies as you can using the characteristics of animals.
