May 31, 2006 Louise T. Blouin MacBain to give Keynote Address at the First European Festival of Children’s Art & Creativity Founder and Chairperson of the Louise T. Blouin Foundation, Ms. Louise T. Blouin MacBain, will deliver the keynote address at the closing ceremony of the First European Festival of Children’s Art & Creativity at the Olympia Park in Munich at 3:00pm on 31 May 2006. Mrs. MacBain will join the children in painting a 100-meter long flag-mural to be hoisted on the Olympia Park Tower during the ceremony. She will also visit ICAF’s gallery in Munich to see an art exhibition by blind children. The Louise T. Blouin Foundation believes in the unique power of culture and creativity to be catalysts for positive change. The Foundation promotes better understanding of culture beyond borders through international cooperation, exchange and dialogue and explores the broader practical significance of creativity and the creative potential of the human brain. The Foundation honors individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the development of culture and creativity. The 2005 Louise T. Blouin Foundation Awardees included King Abdullah of Jordan and President Bill Clinton. The Foundation’s International Advisory Board includes Jeremy Irons, Bianca Jagger, Shimon Peres and Mortimer Zuckerman. “Mrs. MacBain is playing a critical role in promoting creativity and cross-cultural cooperation,” said Dr. Ashfaq Ishaq, ICAF’s Executive Director. “We are delighted that she will be addressing the children from across Europe and the world on this historic occasion.” “It will be a special moment for peace building in the world,” said Mrs. Elena Janker, Director of ICAF eV and festival host. “We look forward to welcoming Mrs. MacBain and working with her on the creativity and dreams of the next generation.” The International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) employs the arts to heal, inspire
