Associazione Carpe Diem held Third Arts Olympiad press conference at the Campidoglio (State Capitol) of Rome on April 20, 2005. Attendees included: Mrs. Garavaglia, Vice Mayor of Rome; Mrs. Pantano, Commissioner for Youth Affairs of Rome; Mrs. Brandi, Commissioner for Youth Affairs of Trieste; Mr. Della Noce, Marketing Manager of Diesel Kids; Mr. Noferi, Director of RaiSat Ragazzi; Mrs. Muci, Director of Disney; Mrs. D'Amato, Dean of Sociology, University of Rome; Mrs. Giannini, Dean of Psychology, University La Sapienza. Associazione Carpe Diem exhibited at the 42nd Bologna Children's Book Fair, which was held from April 13 through April 16 in the Piazza Constituzione, Bologna, Italy.

The book fair is Europe's largest trade show for children's books, and is frequented by children's book writers, illustrators and publishers. Carpe Diem promoted the Third Arts Olympiad (2005-2008) during the fair. Over 1,100 exhibitors from around the world participated.

1. RAISAT RAGAZZI is our official Media Partner. They will come to 6 different cities and film the schools and children of each city.
2. IL SOLE 24 ORE (the "Financial Times of Italy") is our Media Partner for newspaper and radio.
3. MINISTER of EDUCATION Mrs. Letizia Moratti has given her support.
4. President of the Youth Commission of Italian parliament has given full support.
5. The Mayor of ROME has given full support and will organize the Press Conference at the State Capital of Italy.
6. The University of Rome - Marina D'Amato will write a book about the "sociology and children" out of the best 200 drawings.
7. The Director of RaiSat will be in our judging board!
8. University LA SAPIENZA Department of Psychology has offered their support to write a book about "The Interpretation of Children's Drawings".
9. The National Art Exhibit will be held in Florence during "PittiBambino" sponsored by DIESEL kids.
