Malaysia: Yellow House / Malaysian Friends of UNICEF

Yellow House kicked off the Third Arts Olympiad (2005-2008) last month! As part of our official launch, the Ministry of Education exhibited Malaysian children's art at the Putra World Trade Center for three days. The theme of "My Favorite Sport" was represented in both traditional 2-D drawings and paintings and in digital art. The highlight of the exhibition was a 3-D sculpture created out of sporting gear that was constructed by Sri Garden School, which took up our challenge to make the ICAF lesson plan come to life. The Malaysian chapter of the Third Arts Olympiad is off to an excellent start!

Dear ICAF Friends,

Here are some outdoor photos of the Art & Sport Event of Children's Celebration with Malaysian & Thai Celebrities. As part of the 4-day event, we organized a soccer match between 40 selected children against 11 adult celebrities and the children won 4-0! It gave the children a lot of confidence in the sport.
